Mag bodies?

Ok I recently got into mags and I am wondering is there any other centerfeed mag bodies other than the ule body? If so is there any difference between the ule body and the regular centerfeed other than the cocker threads?

There some old steel centrefeed bodies kicking around. They can be tricky to come by though. Other than being made of steel and using twistlockbarrels, there's a style difference. I believe they can be found in classic and minimag styles.

The ULE is made out of aluminum, the old centerfeed require center twist lock barrel and are usually stainless steel. They also have attached feedneck in most case, comparing to the ULE which have angel threaded feedneck.

There are other variety of the ULE made by rogue:

Exile:

There are also other cosmetic milled bodies: Karta, Phoenix, Viper variety, PTP 2009

The difference between ULE bodies and classic bodies, other than the barrel threading, is that ULE bodies are aluminum and all of the other bodies are Stainless Steel.

Now, there are a lot of aftermarket companies that sell aluminum centerfeed bodies with cocker threading. Venomous designs (ULE-Bodies-for-automags), Rogue Products are just a couple.

There are centerfeed stainless bodies around, but I'm fairly confident they don't make them anymore, but they are floating around BSTs.

You mean luke?

Then you need to add shipping and handling.

Consider a ULE body is only 100 bucks or so, it is not a worth while investment anymore.

There's also the Tac-one body. It's pretty much the same as the ULE body, but more, uhhh, tactical

AGD still sells CF SS bodies. Go to the website. They're about $150.

Yeah, I meant luke..I must have forgot the link to his site, im on my work comp now and dont have it. Shipping and handling is what? $10 MAX first class mail round trip? $45 is still $100 cheaper then ULE body.. I know, I bought a ULE From AGD Last week, havent played with it yet, but I cant wait. Its an excellent product. The autococker threads are a nice addition, PLENTY of barrel options.
