Automag: the original 'Battle Tested' marker ;)

I've seen weathering done on Tippmanns and other milsim markers before and the thought of doing it to my Mag crossed my mind many times.

So today I took the plunge and did it.

Let me know what you think!

I love it. To me a used marker always looks better than a pristine one.

I think part of the reason why I want an SFT Shocker is because the anno is crap and wears down like this.

You going to dry brush it with rust colored paint... or maybe add some rust wash stain?

Sorry.. I'm an old plastic model builder at heart.

I'm torn. I loved it before, but it does add a certain character that still draws me.

You should cover it with blood like russc did to his Sniper. It screams "I will bite your head off, digest it, then **** it down your neck hole" to the opposing team.

That is a great idea! I,ll definitely look into that.

I'm still debating if I should add more weathering or not. I like it the way it is, but every time I pick it up, I think 'ohh, this spot could use more weathering'

I love the look.

I "distressed" a Blazer along those lines a few years ago and subsequently my TacOne 'mag.

It's a risk if go to sell it as some folks just consider it "worn" but if it's a shooter and you enjoy it, why not?

Exactly. For me, half the fun of paintball is customizing your gear for looks and performance.

The only time I will sell my mag is if my doctor wants me to quit the sport. Otherwise, it stays with me
