Helicoiling it works. I've done one on an x valve with good results. The valve isn't junk, it's fixable.

My machinest thinks a helicoil will be an easy fix.
I will talk to him tomorrow to see if he has the time to help me out.

Not really a personal machinest, just the one at my work. He's amazing, been doing it since he was 12, and fixed the hole without a helicoil. I was impressed with his skill, but he said we just got lucky. I will assemble and test tonight, but looks good.

Wallets weren't affected since it was the companys time, equipment, and dime.
