One of the better tips I have seen was to replace the classic on/off with an RT one.. makes the trigger snappier.

Is it a drop in replacement? The whole assembly or just the pin?

I ran my RT Pro on CO2 with a female Stabilizer without any problems, of course I don't wail on my trigger like there is no tomorrow.

From what I read, you may want to do a search here and find the thread on on/offs

When the temperatures are over 55 or 60, I use CO2 on my Classic Automag with great success. I use an anti-siphon tank going to an expansion chamber. No problems with that setup. To avoid any issues, however, in cold weather I use a screw in HPA tank. Freakin' thing is too big and heavy and I definitely prefer my 16 oz CO2 tank.
