Well, when I saw the BST thread, I thought "why?" Can you explain the benefits of running a separate reg, or know of any examples of someone doing this? I'm trying to understand how this would work or look on a marker. Understand I've been out of Paintball for 3 years, so if this is a new trend, I've missed it. Oh, the parts look very well done, btw.

It's mostly to make the marker smaller and lighter. It would work like running air straight into the valve, it's just moving parts around, and not carrying a half-pound stainless reg on the back of the marker.

| aka Alby | Its highly unadvised to use just an adjustable tank reg, unless its an older MaxFlo. As you empty the HPA tank the pressure will rise and your velocity will go up. SO if you run HPA you need the reg on the tank and a second one to adjust the pressure properly and not spike up as the tank gets low.
