is lvl 10 worth it for a rt classic?

Well like it says pretty strait forward question, for your opinion.

I have a rt classic that i almost never use, other than around the back yard. I don't know much about it have had it for about 2 years now and have never taken it apart, never played in a game with it. It seems to recharge slow so i have decided to rebuild the valve/reg and while i am at it learn more about it the hard way. Figured while i have it all apart would be the time to think about lvl 10 bolt. I have had a few people tell me that they did not like thiers cause the constantly had to re-tune them, and the initial setup/tunning were difficult. So i want to know from you guys (imo know more about paintball than most i talk to), suggestions?

I don't know anything about mags, but I just got an RT Classic with a level 10 bolt. I played with it for about 30 min and had a lot of fun. I was using a gravity hopper and a single trigger frame. I could not pull the trigger fast enough to create any problems. No chops, it always fired...as long as a ball was there.

that being said I would also like to know the answers to you questions so I can learn more about.

I love them. When I pick up another marker to play, I have to remind myself not to check the bolt with my finger. Saved me a mess last weekend with a few bad paintballs that wouldn't even fit through the feedneck right.

To start, you have to read the tuning instructions as many times as it takes to make sense. 1, 10, 100 times, whatever. After the initial setup, the o-ring you started with may have a mold line inside that wears off and you need to go down another carrier. After that, you should be good for many cases of paint if you keep your mag normally oiled. Keep in mind this bolt operates on a level of force that won't pinch your finger, but seals about 450 psi. The o-ring fit should be light enough for you to move with a thumb and forefinger, but tight enough to seal. It can seal with very minimal drag, but expect it to start leaking if you barely feel the seal.

Don't try to tune it willy-nilly, throwing in different shims, carriers and o-rings. Read the tuning instructions as many times as it takes to make sense. 1, 10, 100 times, whatever.

Yes, my primary is the rt in my sig. Lvl 10 is amazing. You should only need to make one adjustment after the initial setup when it wears in. After that you're golden.

Get.

It.

Stilgar has my old R/T with lvl 10 it only took about 45 min to install and I haven't done anything other than oil it from time to time.

No need to retune a LVL 10 once its in and working proper.

I played a good 4 hours with a phantom and shot less than 200 rnds. then I picked up that RT and blasted through the rest of my bag in about 10 min! lol

Shoots so nice.

well i guess that is unamamous, will have to set extra money aside for the bolt as well as a seal kit.
