Perfect Charger Valve Information?

Anyone have any info on the "Perfect Charger" valve made by AGD for PMI?

I now have one, and can find next to nothing on information on these. I can only find one bit of info;

What does the PMI Perfect Charger do? [Archive] - Paintball Forums

That's basically it over the whole entire internet...

Anything more info on it? Or is that it?

I had one in my 2009 gun sale with a PMI Charger back valve and sold it last year:

The first two pictures show the PMI Perfect Charger valve and the next two pictures show the gun with the stock valve reg.

I have seen an article in a mid 90s magazines about the valve reg as well. It showed the brass fittings with the gauge and quick disconnect (as shown on the complete gun above) included with the assembly from PMI as well. I think the slide check may have had PMI engraved on it.

Unfortunately I don't have any clue which magazine it was,

Yeah, I have a mint condition one... From all that I can gather is that it was a stock valve with a larger area for air flow.

Seems odd to find such little info on it, that's all.

That would be the "eight hole mod" for shoot down that was a big deal for a short while. Then AGD started indexing the regulator bodies so that the one hole would line up with the 12 o'clock hole in the valve body. If they don't line up, the gas has to travel around the face of the reg to get in the valve body. Shoot down disappeared and the 8-hole regulators lost a lot of ground.

This.

There were a great deal of "modded" reg halves that came along in that short span of time before AGD corrected the issue and made the other obsolete. Can't hurt anything, but don't help either.
Only one I ever paid attention to was the Diamond Labs back, as it was Al. and significantly lightened the classic valve.
