Oh Pawlak / Predator Marketing Mag questions.

Greetings,
I have recently purchased an Oh Pawlak / Predator Marketing 'Mag ( not received yet).

Any info as to what makes them different from a stock AGD model other than anno?

Wasn't there a "Oh Pawlak Signature Series" gun or was his the "Hypermag" ?

Man... Talk about the wayback machine.

If my scotch soaked brain remembers correctly, it had some custom internals in the on/off to help with airflow.

yep. It had a modified on/off tophat for greater flow, and typically a polished bolt with some slight cutting on the sear face to make for a smoother pull. other than that, they would just have the power tube spacers tuned nicely for good seal. everything else is bolt on or anodizing.

You mean there's another way to do it?

I see that you've got a bad case of SOS. The full medical term being Shiney Object Syndrome.......

Sorry for the late response, but:

Directly quoted from "The Automag Survival Guide" copyright 1996 by John Amodea:

"
Oh Pawlak Signature Series Automag: The Oh Pawlak Signature Series Automag is a fully upgraded tournament ready Automag. This gun comes with a verticle bottle CO2 set up, custom spiral drilled barrel, 45-grip frame, bolt-on Power Feed, polished main body, and a three color "splash" anodized finish. The Oh Pawlak Signature Series Automag is available from Predator Marketing of Sacramento, California, and retails for about $695.00.
"

The "Hypermag" you speak of was marketed by Fox River Games near Chicago, Ill.

Hope that helps a bit.

I brought it to Castle.
It seems that if it is indeed an Oh Pawlak model, the original body and powerfeed adapter are not there.
The valve has a Predator Marketing decal on it.

Anno is in great condition with no damage or scratching to speak of.

It needs to be tuned as the trigger is slow to reset, but dry fired well after a quick cleaning.

All in all, I'm very pleased with the purchase.
