SC Pump Mag...

Just got this in a great trade on saturday (SS-25 in okay condition for the pump mag, straight up), and I figured I might as well show her off.

All the work was done by Brad at PBmax, or so I was told, right before he dissappeared.

Not very effiecient though, only gets about 6 shots off a 12 gram. Ouch. Maybe gets 80 shots off of a 13/3k tank.

Super smooth pump stroke. And shoots great.

Beautiful anno, too bad about the 12g consistency.

I didn't know there were other Albertans in here, /wave.

You may want to check to see if the seals need replacing. Or if the seals were recently replaced, wait for them to get broken in and that should possibly make a difference in the consistancy. Otherwise, I like it Especially the anno, very cool.

Also, if you find that your first shot is really hard to pull the trigger or that it is a hot shot then you have some reg creep. Replacing seals should fix it too. And if someone put a ULT in it instead of the standard on/off or RT on/off then you may have some issues from it as well. Same goes if someone tried to use a lvl10 instead of a lvl7. You would use extra air because of the anti-chop capabilities of the lvl10.

I got 15 good shots out of my semi automag from a 12 gram. It's a level 7 though and doesn't look a 10th as good as that one.

Thanks Walrus, I will give that a try sometime. Valve is serial in the MM3000's, and has never been rebuilt.

I believe the poor effieceny is acually due the fact that this valve was drilled out many years ago. I'll try swaping it out for a different valve.

Definately! If it has an 8 hole mod or something similar then you will get worse efficiency. The standard valve with the standard charger (back) will be the best as long as it is the newer type valve that has the holes aligned from the factory. Only the earlier 68Automag valves had the issue that needed it to be drilled out to prevent shootdown. Your valve should have been newer being a Minimag valve.

Nice Pmag.

I have a very similar setup on mine, I wish I had that feed system instead of the AM stock feed.

I am pulling 12-15 shots depending on weather.
