Sydarm Anatomy?

Can anybody explain to me how the AGD sydarm 12 gram system works? Things like the orientation of the pierce pin and where the air input is in the valve. I am guessing it is some kind of specially modified automag valve.

Perhaps someone could put up some photos of one disassembled?

Thanks

I believe that the 12g goes in butt first and the co2 knob is a banjo bolt.

Let me see if I understand this allright, the CO2 knob contains a pierce pin and an air passageway directed downwards into the valve. Which means the valve is just like a regular automag valve except with an air input in the top instead of on the side. So you insert the 12 gram, turn the CO2 knob to pierce, and all your CO2 goes directly from knob to valve via...what exactly.

How is the system sealed?

The Co2 cartridge unlike other markers go in "backwards". The pierce pin is in the knob itself. Once you install the cartridge and install the knob. The knob has an air channel which is sealed by 2 orings on either side and directs the air through a hole at the bottom of the fist tube and into the second tube which is where the valve is.

The 12 gram "knob" contains the the pierce pin and has two orings that seal inside the tube, the sydarm valve also has two orings that seal inside the body of the sydarm.
