So I got my used ReTro valve with level 10 on my classic mag and I put together a 1200 psi ninja reg'd bottle to feed it. I lubed it up and put on the stock classic bolt spring and went through the process of tuning the level 10 by swapping carriers until it stopped leaking. (I only have carriers 0-2 and 1.5 works) and I have two shims installed. When I try to shoot it with the 1200 psi input pressure, i get a dead trigger. With a preset 48/3000 it worked fine and RT'd properly inputting 1000 psi? Swapping main springs didn't help and gave the same dead trigger, regardless of input pressure? This hasn't been anything what I was expecting?

I had the tank filled to 4k+ and have a dual port asa with a 3000 psi gauge on it to tell me the input pressure, 1200 for the ninja reg and 1000 for the PE

Is the ASA pushing the pin on the Ninja regulator in too far, and causing it to "turn off" and not supply the marker with pressure? Ty

I guess i should redefine my problem. The valve is getting full pressure, the dead trigger is one which has resistance of the input pressure however there is no point where pulling it will discharge the marker? I am just pulling against air and the dropping of the sear doesn't fire the marker. I thought this would mean the trigger rod is out of adjustment but with the other bottle, it fires fine? This is why I thought the increased pressure was the issue.

Front grip screw or the rear strip screw? Would that affect bolt stick or?

Does turning up your velocity allow it to fire? Does moving to a larger carrier allow it to fire (even if leaking)? Does the bolt move freely off the powertube stem when the valve is degassed and removed from the marker?

The bolt does move freely but doesn't fall off the power tube if I hold it upside down. I'll have to try upsizing the carrier and increasing the velocity more when I get more air. I started thinking that my sear pin was too long which prevents the on/off from opening to fill the dump chamber and as a result the sear drops to allow free passage of the bolt which doesn't have air behind it?
