Righto.

Any experience with the PMI Perfect Bore?

Looks kinda sorta like the BOA, only backwards on the porting . . .

Anyone else?

Anyone?

Perhaps get a poll going? Hmn . . .

I use a DYE 8.5" SS on mine, and I've never had a problem with it, and rather like it. The gun's a centerfeed, so I haven't tried anything else but the stock minimag barrel I used to have (the stock one was used to test the dremel-fu, then came the DYE).

I thought it was either brass or chrome-plated.

If they did come in stainless, the snakebite would definitely be on the table. Pity they are so rare. Blessed SP . . .

But here's more at what I'm looking at, and again, all in 10-12" stainless:

DYE standard
Lapco Autospirit (preferable of the two types)
Lapco Bigshot (meh, unless it can be as highly recommended as the AS)
Taso Pro series (maybe?)
ANS Phase 2? (don't like the looks of it, really, but hey, maybe it's flat awesome)
Others?

I've little to no direct experience with any of these barrels, but am counting on the fact that many of you do. Indeed, I've never had a stainless barrel of any kind. But I want one now. So by all means, feel free to pile on the love, or the dirt, and you'll have my perpetual gratitude.

Cheers.
The BOA'S also came in nickel plated, looks like stainless. I think they came in 3 different bore size's. Any questions you have on the BOA'S I can get the answer's for you. I played on their team and am still in touch with the last owner and builder

What is CiP?

Do you mean CP, i.e., Custom Products?

Do they make one-piece stainless?

I'm going on the assumption that, barring gross manufacturing issues, no barrel is inherently 'better' than any other barrel at getting a ball out. It's just a tube and nowhere near as important as the spitball it shoots. Or in another way, no single barrel should ever be more expensive than the first case of paint you put through it.

The main thing was trying to get a sense of preferences based on bore finish (which does count for something in my experience), general aesthetics, sound, efficiency, etc.

You know, the mainly inconsequential stuff. But often folk will have a preference for something I've not thought of, and it's nice to throw that into the mix.

And to idkfa, yes, it is mainly down to DYE and Lapco, which probably means one of each.
