Best stainless twistlock barrel

Yet another question for you all.

I may well get a barrel kit for the classic (probably Python), but would also very much like to get your recommendations on a single stainless barrel in the 10-12" range.

Weight is no object. Indeed, weight is good.

Personally I really like the looks of the old DYE/Carter type, but of course there are many other makes and styles out there, and function is of more value than prettiness, so I thought it would be wise to have you experienced folk weigh in.

I'd also very much appreciate if you could elaborate on the reasoning for your top choice(s), just to give me more to chew on in my decision-making process.

My thanks as ever.

I like the BOA barrels. They have always shoot great for me and you can shoot them clean if you have a break. They did tend to be a little louder than say an All American barrel.

I second the BOAs. I have never been disappointed with them.

Did BOAs come in stainless?

I thought it was either brass or chrome-plated.

If they did come in stainless, the snakebite would definitely be on the table. Pity they are so rare. Blessed SP . . .

But here's more at what I'm looking at, and again, all in 10-12" stainless:

DYE standard
Lapco Autospirit (preferable of the two types)
Lapco Bigshot (meh, unless it can be as highly recommended as the AS)
Taso Pro series (maybe?)
ANS Phase 2? (don't like the looks of it, really, but hey, maybe it's flat awesome)
Others?

I've little to no direct experience with any of these barrels, but am counting on the fact that many of you do. Indeed, I've never had a stainless barrel of any kind. But I want one now. So by all means, feel free to pile on the love, or the dirt, and you'll have my perpetual gratitude.

Cheers.

I have a snakebite and it is pretty nice. Plus it looks awesome. I also really like my other stainless barrel I have. I don't know what kind it is though...

Single spiral porting about 4-5 inches down

I thought it was too, so I picked it up for pretty cheap. I don't know how to tell though.
