e-lcd frame question

can you put a centerflag elcd frame on a tac one rail? the reason im asking is because the frame has the dovetail groove on it and the tac one rail does not. it looks like the frame would fit on a stock rail but i bought the tac one rail for weight and looks so id like to use it if possible. any help would be awesome, thanks.
