I am indeed the owner of the one true 24k gold automag, Forest did it as a favor for me, much the same as Ken has done with teh g-10 cockers for our store- I also bought glen palmers first retail double barrell semi -- pd2 (long since sold to BLUE from EMR). I like crazy toys. what can i say. I like this forum... il try to visit it often....hmmmmm
Owner of the one and only true 24k gold micromag, ask Forest or Tracy. Anyone who was ever at the michigan monster game saw my gun and my pet alligator for 4 yrs straight.

The pattern is a Black and Gold sponge.
This one baffled me a little as I had never seen this pattern before and it appeared to be a factory finish. I emailed PTP and here is what they (Forest) had to say about it:
"What a find! We did a very (very) limited number of the "Gold Rush" pattern (gold ano varies by lot, and these were all specifically matched - it may have only been one or two runs - maybe a total of 10 - 12 ?). I need to go back and check photos from APG, but we presented Fred Schultz a one of a kind that I believe was the opposite pattern (more black than gold) at the AM Open back when dinos ruled the Earth - the good response to that resulted in the Gold Rush limited edition."
"How would you like one across your lip?" - Fred G. Sanford

King of the OFG
I believe that this is an experimental pattern that we did in the late 90's, and is very rare. Since PK Selective did all of our work there are a few individual patterns that they did directly for players with a slight variation on our patterns/color combinations, and we run across those occasionally as well. I almost think that we might have one or two parts at the shop with this (or VERY similar) pattern in one of the parts bins - I'll double check that for you as well.

My previous " Blue Nights" vertical feed MicroMag 2000. I think that it is more teal than blue.
A purple fixed barrel Micromag that looks very "Smart Parts".
Another " Jungle Nights".
Another " Crazy Iguana"
The one pictured in the previous post has yellow in it. This one is just green and black - similar to the one reviewed in an earlier APG.

Here is mine:
I have an autococker with a very close anno(That is why I bought this micro). I think the mag was done by PK via PTP.
