Gold Rush The pattern is a Black and Gold sponge. Bigger Pic This one baffled me a little as I had never seen this pattern before and it appeared to be a factory finish. I emailed PTP and here is what they (Forest) had to say about it: "What a find! We did a very (very) limited number of the "Gold Rush" pattern (gold ano varies by lot, and these were all specifically matched - it may have only been one or two runs - maybe a total of 10 - 12 ?). I need to go back and check photos from APG, but we presented Fred Schultz a one of a kind that I believe was the opposite pattern (more black than gold) at the AM Open back when dinos ruled the Earth - the good response to that resulted in the Gold Rush limited edition."

| King of the OFG | Quote: "Hi Robert, I believe that this is an experimental pattern that we did in the late 90's, and is very rare. Since PK Selective did all of our work there are a few individual patterns that they did directly for players with a slight variation on our patterns/color combinations, and we run across those occasionally as well. I almost think that we might have one or two parts at the shop with this (or VERY similar) pattern in one of the parts bins - I'll double check that for you as well. Regards, Forest "

My previous " Blue Nights" vertical feed MicroMag 2000. I think that it is more teal than blue. ![]() A purple fixed barrel Micromag that looks very "Smart Parts". ![]() Another " Jungle Nights". ![]() Another " Crazy Iguana" The one pictured in the previous post has yellow in it. This one is just green and black - similar to the one reviewed in an earlier APG. Last edited by Target; 06-18-2007 at 09:54 PM. |
