PTP Micromag Anodize Patterns

I think there have been enough of us Micromag owners out there with pictures that we could probably create a picture reference thread of the different popular anodize patterns that have been distributed by Pro Teams Products. This thread will not be for those anodize patterns that are custom jobs.

(Mods, please feel free to sticky this if it takes off and we get quite a few pictures.)

Yup, it was on the old MCB and got lost when the server got canned. Most of the photo-reference I have is from Forest at PTP.

"Wild Satin Iguana". Green with black and yellow brush

"Ultra Gold". 24K gold plated. Reportedly only 1 ever made? Can anyone verify that?

"Alien" anno. One of the more rare patterns. I've also seen this called an "oil" finish on other markers.

"Lightning" finish. Reportedly only 6 made. The one I had was the cleanest one I'd seen surface. I have no clue how these were made. PTP didn't have any photos of them or much information about them when I contacted them for info. I've had a couple of anodizers say that this would have been impossible to produce in anno. Its possible that this is some kind of coating.

I can't even begin to tell you how awesome this was in person.

"Ultra Nickel". One of the more popular finishes next to dust black.

"Ultra Black". Nice black gloss. We started seeing these after 96? Prior to that I think that all the black was a dust black.

"Jungle Nights". Blue to purple to fuchia fade with black sponge overlay.

"Blue Tiger". Blue/silver with black brush overlay.

There are also a couple of unconfirmed annos that match the style of PTP during the time, but have not been categorically confirmed. PTP was a Pro-shop and did do a few one off annos, so these are possibles even though they're not part of the regular production patterns.

Referred to as "Storm" anno. This is teal with purple splash. It is nearly the reverse of "Wild Tiger".

Unknown pattern in purple with blue/silver sponge. This pattern is very similar to "Cool Camo" or "Wild Tiger" although it is not the right color for either.

Unknown pattern #2 in green and silver. This pattern is on an early fixed barrel MicroMag. Although this anno has some of the hallmarks of the early PTP anno, it has not been confirmed either.

PTP offered several popular accessories in match anodized patterns. In addition to the expansion chamber you see on several of these markers, and the gas through grip on the "Alien", they also offered:

Pro Red Dot sight.

Pro Cradle.

If you have any patterns that you do not see here please contact me as I would like to add a photo of any new patterns to my collection.
