I have an micro valve in my mag and it has a strange leak. It is coming from where the where the power tube screws into the body. I looked at my classic valve and that part looks welded together. Is there an oring that I should put there or should I throw in some loc tight? I am very confused as the rt manual does not show an oring here New Issue: See below

If the powertube is not welded, then you'll need to unscrew it an use Loctite to try to get it sealed. I would recommend blue Loctite, as you shouldn't need to take it apart ever again.

A small drop on the threads will work fine. You don't want it getting into the powertube.

Ahh. Thank you! I have trying to figure out the leak for some time. I pulled what I thought was a destroyed oring off. The more that I think about it, it may have been old loctite.

Ok...lets step back. Is it leaking at the PT tip? The brass thing that the bolt goes over or further down the valve? What type of valve do you have? Classics and RT's both have a red oring where your saying it's leaking from. Unless you have a very very early classic valve, those valves were lasered shut so there's absolutely no way for it to leak there Soooo...I'm assuming you have a RT valve and also assuming you pushed Co2 through it. That's the very reason why your not suppose to use Co2 on a RT. Only way to fix this is sending it to Tuna to get the oring replaced. That oring isn't shown in the breakdown pictures because your not suppose to screw with. Only the techs carry them and are not included in the AGD kits. |

Nope. No CO2 the loctite fixed that leak then i also fixed a leak with one of the on/off orings was being a pita. Got it out and that leak was fixed. Now i just have a small leak out of the small hole on the micro rt valve

Ok so i thought that i fixed one of the leaks, but it appears not. The leak is very sensitive to trigger pull. putting a small amount of pressure on the trigger stops the leak. and pulling the trigger stops it all together. I was thinking it was the on/off. i replaced the orings but nothing worked. any ideas?
