help me oh wise and powerful mag masters.....

got your attention didn't it?

i recently purchased a classic mag w/level 10 and ULE body. when it arrived, i gassed it up and tried shooting it a few times. it only fully fired about half the time. the rest of the time, the bolt only made it halfway through it's travel. i have little to no idea how to tech mags, as this is my first one.

Check out the stickies for this section. I'd say start with the level 10 troubleshooting tips.

Try lubing it at the macroline input to the valve.

Also, if the velocity isn't turned up enough it could be causing the problem.

If neither of those things fix the problem it is probably with the Level 10 carrier being too small, causing bolt stick.

You most certainly CAN! Excessive oil will cause the bolt to gum up. I have seen snapped mainsprings and gummy bolts. Do not oil the bolt or spring.

Well, certainly don't use some thick crap like KC. I've seen more of that crystalized in old guns than I care to think of.
