Good week for MicroMags...

Funny how these things work out...

I had JUST gotten rid of a Desert Fox when I saw a "Jungle Nights" Micromag on eBay. So I had money in paypal that would allow me to bid.

Just like that, the family grew by one. This one has a cut trigger guard and from what I can tell, a completely custom trigger.

Then, only days later, I get the parts that I had sent off to Claudio back.

Once assembled, they make a beautiful, black with mint green splash, Micro E-mag. The body on this one has been side-milled, and had the sight rail removed for a cleaner look, as well as that sweet, sweet anno.

So now I have to figure out which one to use next time I hit the field. Choices, choices...

Hey brah, I am currently building a MicroE and I was wondering who did your milling? Also, a MicroE is just Emag lowers with a Proteam length on/off in the valve bolted straight to the Micro body right?

Thanks for your help.

There is one part that you'll need for a whole Micro E, and that's a spacer that sits directly over the battery case and helps smooth the transition to the body. It's 100% cosmetic though, so you don't actually NEED one. Although, come to think of it, it probably gives you some protection for the wires in the frame.

From what I can recall after having an E-mag in my hand 2-3 months ago There is nothing special about Micro E lowers except for the milling on the battery case.

Rainman here on MCB did my millwork.

Do you have your micro body yet? I ended up with an extra raw body after all this was said and done.

I saw that Jungle Nights Micro on ebay just after I got my recent catch of Micros. It was nice and from what I could tell the custom trigger looks to possibly be a Triggernomics trigger. You would have to PM Maghog on AO to confirm it as he is Dan from Triggernomics.

Nice Micros by the way! I have always enjoyed your collection :D

Yes, but you also have an x-mag, so I enjoy your collection as well. :D

I have the little wedge looking piece mounts under where a vert fore grip would go if that is the battery cover/ spacer part you are talking about. If it isn't, please let me know.

I will have to give Rainman a call then. Did he also do the anno?

I have a MicroMag body and MicroE valve ready to go, just waiting for the lowers to get here.

Thanks for the help.

Rainman did do the anno as well. And I hate you for having a Micro E-valve. :)

The wedge piece was the one I was talking about.

Impressive collection! If you have another $600 handy theres a gloss blue Micro E-mag on PB Nation that's pretty smokin'

Just got a note from Dan at Triggernomics, you know the guy who made mad cocker disease...

The custom trigger on the Jungle Nights is from his shop and it's sterling silver with a nickle silver back end.

That was cool to find out...
