Just out of curiosity, why is the R/T sear riveted? Increased force on the sear, maybe?

You might find a little bearing in a CD or disk drive that would fit, maybe with a sleeve. Do you know the larger OD of that bushing? Seems like a reasonable idea.

i gather its easier to run square in the slot with the wider bearing surface. the classic sear runs in a narrow slot on a wider pin there must have been to much drag with the classic sear running in the narrow slot, so agd made the slot wider and then needed to keep the sear running square, so they added the bushing to the sear. i just picked up a 2009 ptp mag and it came with a classic sear installed there is no way that will work with an RT pin, theres way too much slop |
