I listed some wtb's on here and ao but no one's offered as of yet. I looked up on agd's store and see that there is an rt pin. Would i only need to replace my pin in the on/off (minimag valve) to obtain a lighter trigger pull? Also, will this cause an rt effect on my marker? I don't have an adjustable tank reg so that may not be an issue anyway. I'm a mag noob, so any advice or suggestions is appreciated.

No you need to replace the entire on/off. You should be able to purchase the entire rt 0n/off somewhere on the site. EDIT: there they are - http://store.airgundesignsusa.com/in...&categoryID=23 It will not give you an rt effect, the minimag doesn't work the same way as an rt valve. |

In my experience, the RT on-off doesn't make much difference in trigger pull on the Classic Valve. I think it's mostly placebo effect.

The RT pin has about 50% less area exposed to valve pressure, so the force is that much less. If you can't feel that, you have a lot of friction lurking around the sear contact surfaces. You can polish the sear where the on/off pin rides and keep your sear pin clean and lubed. You can lightly polish the edge of the bolt where the sear rides, especially if it has marks, but don't change the shape.

thanks, spider. I guess i'll end up picking up a new one off the links above. Wouldn't a guy like you have such an item laying around?

I have heard of pins getting broken, but you usually have to get something in there sideways since the pin is in compression with a little lateral force from the sear hump, front-to-back. You can make one from a classic with a lathe, if you have it all on hand (like the little o-ring). Otherwise they are easier to order.

I swapped a classic on/off for a RT on/off in my Minimag. I definitely felt the difference.
