I'm just looking to know what you all might think this thing is worth.... the seller says it has; Z-Body, CP barrel and a "Bulldog 3000psi tank"...It also appears to have a Benchmark frame on it, I can't tell what the foregrip is and he hasn't told me what the valve is yet (but it's probably just a classic valve)......any ideas? Sorry about the cell pic (I didn't take it)

Off hand i'll say it's worth about $200 +/- 20 bucks depending on how long you want to wait to sell it. Last time I sold my z-body, I sold it for $160. You probably can get another $40 for the frame and $40 to $50 for the classic valve but not much more than that. The foregrip, barrel, and older tank are more like freebies and will be very hard to sell. If you want to buy it from him, i'll say the price in this market for that kind of gun is about $180 all together. |

Chances are that tank has expired its shelf life. Don't consider it at all.

Just out of curiosity, how "rare" are the Z-Bodies? I've not seen too many of them, of course I'm not a member of AO, so for all I know they could be a dime a dozen....

I agree with PK5 ACI hasn't made tanks (or anything else) in about 9-10 years so yeah I'd agree it's a freebie that shouldn't be factored into value. Body is the most valuable thing there. I don't know how rare but I don't see them often.

I wouldn't call them a novelty. Once they come up for sale. They're gone in a couple of days. As long as you have all the bits and pieces, people will buy them no problem. I've seen them go at $150 for the body alone. Again, as long as everything is there, you shouldn't have an issue. I haven't seen one for sale in well over a yr so you'll have to gauge the market. Dump the tank. No one's going to want it. The barrel is incorrect for the marker but it'll work. You'll need a large bore barrel like .689+ in order for the marker to "function" properly. You should be able to get $200 no problem in today's market. EDIT: After cking, one just sold on ebay for a little over $100 but had zero upgrades. I wouldn't use ebay as a market value though. |
