The RT on/off is the more commonly accepted solution (about half the pull weight). The ULT is about a quarter of that, but is not generally reliable in a classic (AGD just says "no" for a reason). You can nurse a ULT around, but I use the feel of the trigger reset to know the marker is ready to shoot. The ULT cuts that down to the absolute minimum in a classic (or even an RT valve with weak bottle supply).

The trigger shouldn't be any heavier than a classic valve setup for semiauto. Did you remove the blue bumper and replace it with the wave spring? If you don't the trigger will feel heavy and your wave spring won't last long. You can cut down the blue bumper to fit the inside diameter of the wave spring if you want the bumper. You can make it lighter by slowly cutting down the main bolt spring so it just weak enough to not over power the wave spring. That will give you the best pump stroke and trigger feel.
