I want to know if the ultra light trigger upgrade will work in the AM/MM carbon fiber single trigger frame? By the way, what does AM/MM mean? Ugh, it means Automag/Minimag right? duh me. Last edited by BB Cats; 02-02-2012 at 09:33 PM. |

AM/MM: Automag/Minimag Just to help people differentiate, since RT/X and RT classic use different rails and sometimes different frames etc. Edit: just read your edit lol

ULT Goes inside the valve, it's a new on/off. Frame/rail choice really doesn't come into play at all. It's name is confusing..... |

The ULT will fit in an AM/MM Valve (also sometimes referred to as a classic valve). However, they (AGD) don't recommend using the ULT in classic valves since they have a tendency to not work as people expect them to. The ULT works well in RT type valves because of the RT effect (the valve actually pushes the on/off pin back out with more force than it takes to push it in). Since the classic valves do not have the effect, they don't always works as expected or as well as the RT/X Valves. Now, that's not to say that no one has ever done it or that it doesn't work, I think I've thrown a ULT in a classic just to see how it goes, but you just may have some issues with it. I love an RT on/off in a classic valve. It lightens the pul by about 1/2 of the standard on/off and it gives it a very "snappy" pull. You will NOT get the RT effect with the RT on/off in a classic (some people claim they do, but I just don't think so), but it does work great.

So, would you get the whole ULE trigger kit, or just this part: On/Off Assembly .750 - RT ULE/RT Pro/Retro/RT/X-Valve BTW, I have a level 10 bolt. Last edited by henchman; 02-11-2012 at 01:49 AM. |
