If you're talking about the Trracer rail; it's not an exact fit -- it's close, but it takes quite a bit of sanding to get it to shape because that material is actually pretty durable.

I just epoxied it onto the body. I'm pretty lo-tech like that.

How is this an improvement over a standard (non-powerfeed) body, cut down, with an elbow?

Edit; I had the same idea before, but this is the solution I ended up with;

Cram and jam gravity feed...a PTP warp feed adapter with a Phantom speed gate. It works surprisingly well...

It wouldn't take much to make this into a spring feed system.

Unfortunately, acquiring the spare rail was something of a pain. I eventually got mine from Boss Paintball.

  1. More compact than a cut down standard feed body w/ elbow -- I used to run something like that, and I believe this is actually slightly more compact still.
  2. Allows a stock SA-17 spring feed, off the shelf
  3. Allows mounting of a Rip Clip. A lot of people bemoan the lack of a small, electric hopper when a Rip Clip with a Tac Cap fits that bill EXACTLY. They just can't figure out how to mount it to their guns...
  4. Allows direct access to breech -- my mag body has the D shape cut out for hand feeding FS or even sniper fin rounds
  5. Adds picatinny rails to the top of the gun as a bonus

This one mod nails a LOT of birds with just one stone.
