Two questions with this mod: Will it work for left feed mags? (it seems like it would for the standard feedneck but maybe not the rip clip) and how much modification has to be done to the mag body? just remove the powerfeed or do I have to cut out a bigger space?

Nice.

How did you sand/shape it? I found it took me forever to get it sanded down; seems like you got it pretty quickly.

I think the key to the glue is actually sanding it down enough to make sure there is enough surface area contact between the rail and the body so the glue can grip on to it. Mine is currently held on with epoxy and it seems to be holding pretty well.

My previous attempt was with Gorilla Glue, which came apart after a while. I'm thinking paintball fill just happens to be a solvent against Gorilla Glue.

i sanded it lightly inside to make the plastic more ruff so the glue can hold it better and opened more the D shape downward. Thats it. Its not really glued to the top I think(it got glue but its not squeezed) , its the sides that hold it together. Its just enough of a tight fit that it holded the rain with the body together while drying

So, how does it make adding a ripclip easier?
Doesn't a ripclip getting the way of the trigger?

Doesn't really get in the way of the trigger.

The caveat is you might want to get a reverse valved Classic like I did so the air line won't run into the Rip Clip. You could still run it over, but that'd probably look kind of bad.

Seeing that picture makes me realize, it doesn't make the hopper any lower of a profile.
