Does my sear have to match my rail?

If I have an mag rail do I have to have an emag sear? If not which ones work with my rail?

If you have a classic rail, then you need a classic sear. If you have an RT rail, you need rt sear.
emag sear will work in an rt rail but the extra prong for the solenoid plunger will get in the way if you use a non emag frame.

emag or RT sear. There only 2 'types' of sears. classic and rt. Classics have no bushing in the sear and use a pin that just sits in the rail. RTs have a bushing in the sear and use a pin that screws into the rail.
