2nd brass level x tip broke on same valve This is weird. I have had 2 brass tips break off in two conescutve weekends, on the same x-Valve powertube. They break exactly where the brass meets the steel. It's no because of over tightening either. That I know for sure. Anybody else had tips break on them? I'm going to contact Dave at AGD on monday and send it |
is this the same valve having issues with velocity in the MM2k9? |

All of my valves have problems with the 2k9 |
Remember that the old ones were installed with a coin, so don't wrench them down too tight. The o-ring helps keep them on. I have put one on too loose once, but only once. |

I've never had one break. You need to post pics of what's going on. This is highly unusual. |
Yep. It's really weird. This is the only valve I ever have had this happen twice in a row. In the same. Amount of time as well. Took it on the field, 5 minutes into first game, stopped working. Got off, opened it up, found teh tip broken. Following week. Same valve new tip. Same thing, 5 mins in. A different valve in the same body worked flawless all day. I'm sending the whole thing, including the bolt, to Dave at AGD, and he's going to check it out, see what's wrong. Here are some pics. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7211/7...13843ba9_b.jpg Untitled by markwhensley, on Flickr http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7096/7...f09ae8fb_b.jpg Untitled by markwhensley, on Flickr |
WTH is up with the face of the valve? |

Needless to say, things got a little jammed up when the tip broke. |
