Does anyone have a parts diagram and explanation on how the AR frame worked?

whats AR? Auto response? It had a swivel linkage that allowed the sear to release at the middle of the pull. I think the spring was to allow it to perform more reliably with the differences in tolerances of different guns, since it would be less complicated to have made a cam linkage with a fixed pivot.
