cocker guy need a mag guy's help

Im in a little dilemma here, I have an autococker project that is very important to me and the last part that I need before ano is an aluminum slider frame.

The problem is that I really want to use this set of sp wood grips that I picked up and they happen to use the 1 screw design of the older cocker/mag frames. Well all of the cocker frames that I can find in that pattern are either composite or pot metal so they cant be anoed, most of the mag frame are the same but I have seen several mag frames that use that style frame and are anodized so that means that they are aluminum.

So Im asking if anyone knows of an aluminum frame that was designed for a mag that I can use for this. Im looking for model names and so on so that I can do a search on them or if anyone happens to know where one is then I would happily pay good money for it.

Here is the marker, grips, and the ano that Im doing in case anyone was interested (its the camo pattern)

The only All frames I've seen for mags are 45 grip 2 screw. If there were to be call for a custom (al) it is almost guaranteed it is for custom builds needing space in the grip frame so single screw would be out since it is an obstruction. Could have one made but your talking $$$$

Find an Eclipse or SP frame. They'll already be splashed annoed. Talk about hard to find though. Most are going to come with a full/partial splash kit or the trigger guard is going to be cut on it.

Were any of the AGD frames, slider frames? I have an aluminum frame on one of my Mags that is the single hole type. But it's not a slider. I was told that it was cast aluminum, but could still be anodized. They pop up every once in a while in the BST's.

All the AGD frames were case pot aluminum or magnesium then switched to the CF part.

Smart Parts did frames from billet for the Splash anno kits, and the Eclipse frames I am fairly sure came from SP as well.

What color are you trying to go with on the frame ?

No AGD frames would have been sliders- the slider design was for Cockers (moving the 3 way). Mags simply need a pivot for the trigger. I have hears of converting sliders to be used but don't know what's involved.

Yea early on AGD bough rough frames from Bud, and drilled them for the trigger pin. AGD and Worr used the same casting for years ( Until AGD did the CF frame ) so with a little work a slider or a hinge frame "could" be used with a little work.

I wasnt aware that the SP frames were billet and the AGD frames were cast. I had a full splash kit with a frame once and thought it was identical to the cast one that I have now. Now I'm a little leary about ever trying to get this one anodized.

Regarding slider vs non, the OP was asking for an AGD slider frame, which I had never heard of. He is looking to use an AGD frame on a cocker for ano purposes.

Well the SP frames won't work well on the cockers as a recall they don't have the spring perches.
