AGD part weights

I have been trying to find the weights of some AGD components without much luck, I was hoping someone here could... weigh in. Sigh.

For various reasons, I am trying to make an Automag as light as possible.

- Classic Valve
- Classic Valve w/ aluminum valve back
- X-Valve
- ULE Body
- AM/MM Rail
- single trigger CF frame

I don't need speed, but I would get the X-Valve if it was considerably lighter than a Classic valve with aluminum back.

Thanks!

1.82 lbs with the CP On/Off, macro fittings and airline. Has a cast aluminum frame, so you could get a little lighter if you used a CF frame.

Soooo have you been testing that rail? I've making up projects waiting for it.

Justus 10-03-2012 10:02 PM

OPBN is a little ahead of me with a similar project. ;)

Mine's a warp-left, and I'm wanting to do the warpless Halo Too mod to fuel it.

Haven't decided if I'm going to ULE an intelliframe and sleeper pneu it, or go with a standard CF frame though.

Warpig had an article called "ULE On A Diet." But that mag up there is ridiculous!!! :bowdown

Testing it how? Luke is already making these. The one he is still testing is the lighter version where he is using an AM/MM type pin, but using an RTP sear. It also has a flat RT style bottom. I have one of those, but havent really had much chance to test it properly.
