grip frame questions... taso?

I was looking for a single trigger grip frame for one of mine. I have settled on a powerlyte but I recall on the old MCB a for sale thread where a guy had one I had never seen before. If I remember right it was listed as a taso.
It looked a bit like a benchmark but had a curve on the back something like the bob long cocker grips

I have also noticed with the emags there are two grips
flat back

and ones with the curve

was this just a difference in years or per request of the buyer?

As far as the Emag grips, there were two as you have stated and one other. The ones with the curve, were from earlier Emags. The ones with the flat back were "ULE'd" and were popular on the higher end Emags (X-Mags, SFL, etc.) and newer Emags. I was wanting a set of the grips with the built in palm-swell, but instead I got a set that were flat. There were some people who also had their grips milled and ULE'd, but they also came from the factory that way.

Then you also have the ones from PTP when they created the Micro Emags. They used the curved grips and added finger grooves on the front of the grip. Very cool and extremely rare. About the only way to get them is to buy a Micro Emag.

My Emag with ULE'd lowers:

Sounds like it was a Diamond Labs Trigger assembly. I can not remember if Taso made one also but it sounds right because I have a cocker Taso trigger that does the same. Ask ShadowAce if he can get a pic from Jim of the diamond labs one.

I have a pic of my Sydarm in my gallery. It has a TASO frame on it. Just like a Benchmark but with the humpback style frame.

I think that may be it. Has that one been modified? the rod from the sear looks a bit lower than the benchmarks but it looks like it has a benchy trigger on it.

You would be correct in that it does have a benchmark trigger in it. That is really the only mod from stock other than no safety
