I put the cart before the horse, I purchased the machine, tooling, parts and pieces, THEN learned how to use it. (same with the software )

Yeah, I'm not brave enough to invest in mills and stuff without having an idea of how to use it.

Yeah, I could probably put something together in a weekend with a visit to the local NAPA and using a car battery charger. But if I were to do it, I'd want to do it right. Looking at about $300 to get a small line set up right. And then, since I'm married, make that $600, lol!

It's something I said I'd eventually do for a couple winters now. We'll see if this winter is the magic time.

But of course! I really think the biggest issue for me right now is the space to do it, and then worrying a bit about ventilation. The space will come just as soon as I get my workbench built. I've got some help with that, but it's all tied up in deer season right now.

At least my wife isn't rolling her eyes every time I mention it now, lol

If someone body can put a pump mag in my hands I can R&D something up, but my free time will be gone come January. I can design, but I don't have access to machines anymore. Luke what kind of machines are you running?
