After a good night of sleep. I have some fresher ideas. The front looks bare, not sure what to do with it, but something will be done, ideas are welcome.

Also, I might, scratch that, I am going to expand this project and do some grip panels as well. Probably won't 3D print those, they will get thrown into CAM software and have some Gcode punched out for machining.

I hate the way my Apex barrel looks.. new shroud perhaps.

I'd say cut a couple humps into the front of the housing, similar to the sides but wider.

I like it. Couldn't get the sweep to cut the way I wanted so it's staying the same way for now. I did manage to get the Emag logo drawn up though, embossed it on the front. Might move it up top to make room for grooves like you mentioned. Mirrored the Lion to the other side as well.

Man, your skills and resources would be far better applied to more functional products.

No one wants to hire me unfortunately! I'm young and inexperienced, wanting to finish my BS in ME hasn't helped my case either.

Instead of going across the front did you think about going down the front, it would fill out the space more, but idk if it would look any better. It still looks amazing.

I did, the logo doesn't fill it out enough, I guess I could fluff it up a little bit with some extra graphics.. any ideas anyone?

Not mine, my work's (college adjunct at the moment). Its got some pretty unoriginal name like r097803 but I'll post it up monday. 90% sure its a stereolithography model.

Have you considered what it will look like with the field strip screw installed? On current packs it protrudes.

Pro's
-easy to undo
-sturdy
-no tools needed

Con's
-large and hard to hide

You could try beveling around it or just shape your pack around a commonly found, hardware store screw. Since you're 3d printing, you can get pretty liberal in your design parameters. Up to you.

Looks really good. The 'mag community has, again and again, shown that they appreciate individual design and will rally around people who put stuff out there. If you can come up with it, someone will be happy to try it out.
