My first concept drawing had something similar to that, looked a bit tacky, think model 98 front grip tacky. I'll try a different approach to it Monday and see if that gives a better result.

If anyone has ideas for the grip panels lets hear it!

No update today. My class is taking a test tomorrow, so I will take advantage of that and get some more work done while they are sweating . I'll have some pics up tomorrow, expect another update post thanksgiving weekend. I've got a handful of bunkers to patch up before december so that's been taking up a majority of my time.
