I raced RC off-road gas cars and we used cyanoacrylate (CA) to glue the tires to the rim. Zap and Jet are the only CA glue I use. I tried crazy and super glue, and I did not have much luck.

I used to do the same thing. CA glue is great. But I haven't used a foamie in years.

Step 3, dampen the bottom of the foamie with water.

Step 3, apply a very thin film of the white Gorilla Glue to the dampened side of the foamie. I use a toothpick to make a nice even, thin layer.

Step 4, stick the glue side on the metal surface of the bolt.

Step 5, stick a 3/4" disc neodymium magnet on top of the bolt to clamp the foamie in place. Let it sit 24 hours.

--> I 2nd this process. Do this exactly and that foamie will stay on for a long time! With special attention to step 1 & 5.
