newbie here and needs help

Hello,
i am new to Mag's and i don't know anything about them. I'm looking at an RT Pro Mag at the moment and what should i be aware of and what maintenance is there? Does it use LP or HP? and will i break paint or chop? is there a manual or a person on here who can help me fix the marker if it goes down? please help me out.

There's a bunch of well versed maggots around here. There's more, old, and grumpy ones on AO (soon to be the new AO server). Information should not be your problem.

When you think mag, think high pressure.
When you think RT or X-valve, always think air, not CO2.

The only dedicated paint chopping mags have a power feed with the old feed plug design (~$9). It's amazing what a little curve in a feed plug can do. Beyond that, you just need to keep it fed, and it will shoot more paint than you care to buy, for years to come.

Here's a fire hose, have drink.

Spider hit it on the spot. Here are a few more info.

AO is at Automags.Org:

Automags love oil. Keep you RT or X-valve oiled with synthetic oil.

If you level 10 valve is tuned, it will not chop paintballs.

Being in Jersey, if you want professional, I would look up BigEvil or see if Tunaman (tunamart.com) has availability (BigEvil will probably know Tuna's status).

For most things on mech mags, you are best served if you can do them yourself, since they are pretty easy to troubleshoot once you get used to it. That means that a small rebuild kit can keep you moving at all times.

oh ok perfect. Would you happen to know what town BigEvil or Tunaman is within Jersey? all the help would be appreciated.
