I've been using RC shock absorber silicone oil... I just put some in the ASA and blast it through the gun. Seems to work fine.

That might be just right for 12 bps. I don't think I've ever been able to find an RT sweetspot below 11bps, that with a good 800 psi bottle. It's harder to sweetspot at lower pressures for sure, like waiting on the trigger to return. I keep forgetting to try backing off the ASA on/off knob to see what starving the valve will do to the rate and feel.

Don't put co2 through it! The Classics will run on it, but not R/T or X-Valve guns.

Wow, that really is a slick first mag to start out with! Good for you. I thought it would be a plain-jane classic..nope!

As far as oil goes, I've found that Gold Cup turns black quickly, but the Tri-Flow I ordered from Macrolineguy doesn't do that. Any 100% synthetic machine oil will work though. Don't make a special order, just add a bottle of whatever looks good to your next gear order and you'll be set for many months, if not years.

I thought I had another 5 years supply of superlube mulitpurpose oil in my original 4 ounce bottle. Then the dog found it and drank most of it. At least it is FDA approved.

Wow, reminds me of the time my sister's weimaraner pup lapped up a pan full of grease leftover from deep frying a turkey. The little dude had the squirts all day long.

Yeah, I had a friend who's lil' Jack ate most of a whole 1L container of vegetable oil.

They had to replace the carpet in the living room and scrub the walls. Think "Exorcist pea-soup" explosive only out the backdoor and that's what it was like.
