unknown ?

Hi

I was on the AO Forum Buy and sell and I noticed this marker for sale. I am wondering if there is an adapter or shim between the frame and rail ? If there is what is the purpose of the adapter / shim, who made it and when ? I havent seen anything like it before.

Thanks, any info is appreciated.

Here a link to the Buy and sell ad >

Automag of Some Sort

and a photo of the marker.

No it's just the angle of the light from the picture. Just makes it look strange

That does look strange. The 'cutouts' about the frame are just shadows of the grip and safety.

BTW, when did AO change? After I clicked the link, I was like, "This aint AO" lol.

If you want a "shim," Luke may have something up his sleeve for you:

What happened to my rail: Custom super-ultra-mini-micro-nano mag?

We crowd sourced funding to update the forum software and move it onto new hardware. Should be getting re-skinned within a month or two to look less "bla"

Ok so its an optical delusion

I stared at it for a pretty long time and still couldnt make it out, lol.

AO changed pretty recently. Its way faster and more stable now from my location. Its waiting for new skins and such but Thank the Mag Gods all the old forums and photos are still there. Hopefully this breaths a new life into AO theres been a lot of hard work put into it.

Thanks for sorting that photo out for me.

Yes it's just a classic mag with a Teflon coated body. I bought it to part out if you're interested in it

Nope not interested, right now. Almost 30 mags in my collection still. I have another rifle mag project I will start soon but I think this ones going to be 100% custom except the valve.
