time to refinish the emag

I picked my latest Emag up a bit ago and it has a nice powdercoating job done by KPCS. I dont like how easy it is to blemish. Im trying to figure out what to do with it. I am thinking about a 1 or 2 color ano and some laser work. I am not 100% sold on the laser though, a lot of it seems faddish.

Any cool ideas?

It would depend on the set up for me. SS body or ULE? PIcs would help. Anodizing is imo the best way to go usually, but finding a reliable one that doesnt want an arm and leg to do the work is tough sometimes. Some interesting non-anodizing options are Cerakoting, Durakoting and hyrdo graphicing. You can Google each one to see your options.

I have looked into coatings like ceracote. I did have the idea of Vietnam tiger stripe.

The powder coat finish just seems so soft. Just picking up the marker, my wedding ring marks the finish.

Either that or I sell it while the finish is still really good.

If it is that soft, contact Ken and ask him about re-doing it. Powder coat is very tough and shouldnt get scratched that easily.

if your looking for just one color, i think ano-tech in cali does good work for decent prices, i think its like 130 for a whole marker if memory serves my right...

Avoid ano tech... A bunch of parts I sent in went missing... They did purchase replacements but it took over 2 months from start to finish.
