no stars

I just noticed that the classic valve I have has no stars. From my understanding the older valves didn't have any stars. So does that make this valve more desirable?

The stars were there for sending in the valve into AGD for service. Since they don't do it anymore, I don't think anyone really cares if it has 5 or none.

The value will be in the eye of the beholder, but it should be roughly the same as one with stars.

Just out of curiosity, what is the serial?

id say the only thing that would make a classic valve more 'desirable' would be a reversed valve?

Nope. Maybe if it was a level5. Some collectors might pay more for those, but not much. $45 or so is about market.
