then im not sure...maybe its the o-rings? how bout some pics of your valve, the internals, more info about your set up? both AGD and Tuna should have them...just email tuna or call AGD?

pics and a full description of your mag set is usually the easiest to help you get your Mag shooting like it should?

I'm thinking it is maybe the o-rings then. I snapped this when I had it opened up:

yeah all the big Dawgs here recommended...well flat out just said use the AGD o-rings only...or gamble with different o-rings? some other o-rings work...some don't...but AGD o-rings definitely work?

I did some reading on AO and that seemed to be true. I guess I will be buying some stuff from tunaman in that case.

I'm not sure if buna o-rings are ok or not to use, but if the reg piston is worn out(it is a wear part), it usually leaks out the back through the velocity adjuster.
Regulator Piston Assembly-Retro/RT

If the leak is coming from the relief hole on the back half of the valve(over the RT in your photo). It's probably the o-ring on the reg piston. You need to remove the velocity adjuster to get to it.

If the leak is coming from the relief hole in the front half of the valve(it would be opposite the air input). The seals on the valve pin assembly are bad. I think you need to replace the whole thing, I don't recall being able to replace the seals individually.

The leak is coming from the front relief hole so it is the regulator valve pin that I think is leaking. I don't see why the two o-rings on it can't be replaced, it is just held on by a little snap ring. It wasn't that hard to get off.

If I plan to set this up with a level 10 in the future, should I pick up a new regulator piston? Do all of the older ones not work with a level 10?

I don't know if it is a problem but all the o-rings in Short's kit are buna. Would that cause it to leak?

ok so its leaking from the front relief hole...from this post it said that it was leaking from the back relief hole?

you probably just need new o-rings if the leak is coming from the side relief hole?

I didn't realize there were two at first. I initially meant the front relief hole. I'm going to start with an oem kit from tuna and see where that gets me.

no worries big Dawg...i went thru the same thing when i found cheap o-ring on E-bay...and then i started seeing how the big Dawgs would keep telling others to just use the AGD o-rings...and of course they were right...like they always are man!!!
