AGD flatline system.

I have a 3k system reg that I want to put on a 4500 bottle. Can I run 4500 into the bottle or will I screw up the reg? If the reg isnt strong enough for the extra pressure can I refit it with the 4500 flatline parts to make it compatible?

You are correct. You cannot put the 3000 psi reg on the 4500 bottle. The threads are the same and yes you could put it on but you will damage the reg and more than likely injure yourself. You should call AGD and ask them if there is any retrofit parts. You could install the 4500 on the 3000 but not the other way around.

Is it possible to purchase a 4500 reg still?

I looked a bit on the store sight and only came up with parts for the flatline, I dont know where the link came from that zox put up but it was a good find. Id like to source one cheaper as I can do the fitting myself.

Cool Better Product

I am a big fan of mags but I'm not a fan of the flatline regs.
I dont like a reg that doesnt have the bleed feature, which the flatline doesnt.
Best one I've used, if you must have an adjustable reg, is a Centerflag Dynaflow. Or any of their regs with the bleed feature.
They will adjust to about 1200 psi output which is great for Emags.

Centerflag has rebuilt Dynaflows for 75.00 .

And theres one on the bay :

The reason I am set on using this is for the higher output pressure.

That being said, last night I sent some email to an AGD tech about refitting this or just replacing it.

I have gotten a lot of help from you guys and its been much better than waiting on a random tech to get back with me if ever.

Alrighty, I got my tank aired up yesterday but left it turned off, the good news was that it held air at the proper pressure. The bad nws is that I now know why it was sold sold cheaply. Once it is tuned on it will overpressure right away no matter the reg setting. Ontop of the it has a terrible recharge rate I was able to rip a few nice lines of paint though. Once the reg is shot down it takes about 1-2 seconds to reach pressure again then once at pressure it will climb enough to vent out of the overpressure port.

I am thinking that I need a rebuild. At least that I will need one if I desire to keep using the 3k unit.
