AGD R/T Pro Valve... Wicked low serial #, what's it worth?

I've got an RT/Pro valve that's been 100% rebuilt and runs like a dream... I didn't notice (until it was pointed out to me today) that it's got an insanely low serial number, and must have been one of the first few "Pro" series R/T Valves. It's got no scratches to speak of, is all original except for O-rings, and has matching serials on Valve/Back.

Is there a market for low-# AGD valves out there? What's this thing worth today?

This one is "RTP0013X" (X being a variable for #1-9, obviously). My other two R/T Pro valves are "RTP011XX" and "RTP025XX" so I'm fairly sure I'm right in assuming that this is a really early piece.

Probably what you already suspect. On ebay, an RT valve will fetch ~$100. Probably not much more for a low serial number unless you find a collector. In which case, AO might be your best bet.

You could always throw up a listing on ebay with a rediculous starting bid ($300?) and an absurd reserve ($1000) and see if there is any interest at the entrance price point.

What does an ebay listing cost? $2?

Wink

Probably 125.00 .
Its worth more to you because you know what you have.
And you're a mag enthusiast.
I have the 290th mag ever released to the public for sale.
Probably couldnt get 200.00 for the whole marker.
Its worth more than that to me because its a classic with a
level 6.5 bolt and it looks like it just came out of the box new.
And mainly because I'm a mag nut, like you.
