ive made a few of those,...

they work great for testing an LPR before hooking it up to some expensive solenoids and wondering if anything will explode

i don't have any LPR testers, except for stock B2K testers. i haven't built or used a pneumag is there is no need for them(yet!).

here is my HPR tester. granted, i didn't build it, but its saved many a noid. with the QDs, i can swap out gauges for the appropriate level or pressure that i'm testing for. if its tank pressures, i'll use a 1500psi gauge, or low pressure HPRs, i'll use that 600psi gauge(except i did blow that gauge when i tested a reg and got tank pressure instead). but the real key is the vent relief lever so i can track creep, or recharge.

here it is on a Sidewinder:

and here it is with an adapter that i had made to fit stock B2K HPRs(which used proprietary threads and impossible to test off the gun).

yup, its an old co2 tank valve. wasn't my first choice, but i only asked for the adapter and the machinist friend used some great innovation and recycling skills. why cut tank threads if you don't have to.

this tester is from AKA. its a great thing that doesn't get the attention that it should.

AKA Fan
Might as well give the link:
AKA Paintball

I imagine one could do something similar with a CP on/off as they have the purge hole. It just wouldn't be as quick or refined as the AKA one.

EDIT:

Actually, thinking about it, no it couldn't. The CP on/off works based off depressing a tank pin. Regs don't have that.

EDIT2:

I guess you could use a duckbill with a nipple out one side and one of these bleeders on the other:

Not nearly as nice, obviously.
