| That certainly can be a problem. I didn't have that problem with mine so much as the bolt shearing off the Cooper T Detents (happy Schmitti), but a couple of o-rings solved that problem.
Basically the only way to tell if you have a good body or one of the problematic bodies is to put it on a rail and insert a valve. If it works, then great, if it doesn't, well then not so great. Just remember to take the twist lock pin out of your rail if you are using a classic or RT rail.
If you got it for $130, thats a decent price I suppose. They really have been a 'what the market will bear' type of purchase. I think I got mine for like $70 or something, again, off e-bay. I have seen them offered for as much as $200 -- all a product of marketing. |
