yeah my mag with rt valve, level 10 kit, ule body and dye ultra lite barrel, with 92/4500 tank worked well in the winter, but the paint would get real brittle at low temps. I could only play with just the ultralite back on it to keep the breaks down. wisk I still had that gun, lol

I would stay away from blow back in cold weather all together. As well, I wouldn't use anything but HPA unless you are planning to put an electric sock to warm the tank up.

My autococker works just as good in the extreme cold as it does when its warm or hot out. Worked awesome in 3 feet of snow at the battle of Stolengrad skirmish one year. You should just forget tippmann and mag and get a cocker.

But then again I love autocockers and I am partial lol, but if I had to pick between tippmann or mag for cold weather, I would go with the mag with HPA.

As stated much earlier in the thread. Guns that are capable of running liquid co2 run top notch in cold. Most of these guns are blow backs.

Like the tippmann pro carbine.

One thing to note is that when running a gun on liquid you do not want to run a regulator like a stabilizer downstream. Just strait siphon liquid and it will work great.

For an automag there is no question that no matter what you do with co2 it will not work well in the cold with an automag. HPA tank.

I suspect that gutting or removing and capping off the AGD reg and running a vertical stabilizer instead might let the valve work better with co2 but i doubt much better.
