| Nerd | If you mean the PBN thread where Gardner showed up, epic is the right word. I think I recall reading somewhere that the black box was little more than a piece of tubing...I can't remember where, though. However, if that's the case, than a couple of hours with a drill and tap, a few little bits from the hardware store, and some thread sealer, and one could theoretically make one for a few dollars, instead of however much they cost originally. |
