Need a lil help from the "mag gurus...

Had my "mag from conception... Here is what I have as a setup:

"perfect" charger regulator
Classic valve
lvl 10
ULE center feed body
intelli frame
4 stage expansion chamber

Here is my problem..
Spent this winter installing the lvl 10 and ULE body. Got it working and dialed in with CO2. I would like to feed her better air (HPA). Hooked up my tank (regulated 450 output) and nada.. little hiss down the barrel, no firing.

In reading past threads, I noticed that it was stated that "old regulators didnt like HPA". Do I need to get a tank with a higher regulated output?

Any and all advise is helpful. Thanks!

Mags require a minimum 600psi input to the valve.

there's your problem

a 800psi HPA output is what you need

Nah you just need a new reg for your tank.
35 or so shipped for a brand new I-reg on Ebay.

Hmm.. Have to see. Is there a reg that can be adjusted for both? One reg I can use for high and low markers? I need a 450 output as well for others toys in the closet.

For another $35 or so, you can get a piston kit for the I-Reg.

The piston kit allows you to adjust the output pressure to 400, 600, or 1000 psi (in addition to the stock 850ish psi configuration).

I have a nitro duck 68/45 with a mega reg. It is an adjustable reg from 0-850 psi and the whole thing bolts on like an ASA. I bought it to switch between my mag and Blazer and maybe the ego. It is a little ugly though.
