Safety Question

I was not sure where I should ask this, but this seemed like the best place. It may be a stupid question, but I wanted to be entirely certain before I ordered the part.

I have this frame for my Classic Automag:

Paintball 32 Degrees Automag Grip Frame Blowout CHROME - eBay (item 250209222403 end time Jan-26-08 15:12:43 PST)

and there is no safety. I am wondering if I should get a safety assembly from AGD, or does it require some other type?

You can use an AGD safety on the 32 Degrees frame. Like the Dye frame it copied though, the hole for the spring and set screw is unthreaded. Nothing a 4-40 tap can't fix!

Just a quick note; those frames are terrible. You can get better quality for a decent price and avoid a lot of trouble.

Really? This is my first Mag and it came with it, but I have yet to use it. It seems comfortable, what exactly is wrong with it? I was thinking of upgrading to a frame with a blade or double trigger, any suggestions? Are there any single trigger 45 frames that are any good? I just really dislike the stock AGD frame... like, a LOT.

I haven't used the 32* version of this frame, but I have had ZERO problems with my Dye frame, in fact I really like it.

In terms of a single trigger frame for the Mag that doesn't suck, aside from the stock AGD frame or Dye frame I feel you are out of luck. The Powerlyte frame is okay, but feels alot like a Benchmark frame. In the Benchmark/Powerlyte the trigger pivot point is a little different and I didnt care for the pull, of course others prefer that style... like most everything else in paintball you'll have to try it for yourself before you'll know if you really like it or not...
